Lisa is the heart behind BigMamas Childcare LLC. She creates a warm, family-style environment where children feel safe, seen, and loved.
We use the Creative Curriculum educational framework in our preschool setting.
Children build skills in social-emotional development, physical and language
growth, and cognitive learning. Each child’s skill level is observed and shared with families
so that together we can create goals that better support every child.

Lisa’s experience:
• Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Roughly 20 years of experience in childcare
Vanessa supports daily routines, learning activities, and playtime, helping children feel comfortable, engaged, and encouraged.
As a lead teacher in a licensed Washington childcare setting, Vanessa holds the trainings and clearances required to work in early childhood care. This includes pediatric First Aid and CPR certification, bloodborne pathogens training, Safe Sleep training, a Washington State food handler permit, DCYF background checks, and STARS training in early childhood education topics. Vanessa brings patience, creativity, and a calm presence so children can explore, practice new skills, and feel supported every day.
